Lotte’s owner has surrendered her to a shelter – she is no longer with AABR

Lotte is sadly being surrendered to rescue due to recent aggression with other dogs, including the young male boxer she has been living with. Lotte can walk by another dog on leash, but she can not greet other dogs or live with them. Her owner has consulted with both the vet and a behavioral trainer, and has come to the conclusion that Lotte would do best in a different home without other dogs. Lotte is a 3 year old deaf boxer who has been well taken care of. She knows hand signals for yes, no, sit, wait, paw, come, and potty. Lotte is crate trained and housebroken. She is used to being alone during the day and she does fine with free run of the house, often going into the crate on her own. She loves chew toys, chasing after balls, and going hiking. Lotte is great with car rides and likes to swim. She is wonderful with adults and older children, but can become nervous with younger kids approaching her. Lotte has no history around cats. Our volunteer went to the home to meet Lotte and indicated she greeted her with the typical boxer wiggles and love. She was very sweet and looking to her for attention. Lotte has expressive facial expressions and will be by your side, whether hiking or laying on the couch.
