Just a few days before Thanksgiving, Wyatt was found in a field and could not put any weight on his front left leg. Due to his lacerations and injuries, it appeared that he was hit by a car. Wyatt was taken to the local shelter by animal control and was then transferred to a partnering vet hospital to manage his pain and further evaluate his injuries. The vet determined that there was too much damage to his leg to save it and they completed an amputation. Wyatt arrived at his foster home with AABR the day after Thanksgiving. His incision looks great and he will be getting his stitches removed this week. Wyatt has been getting around well and has taken everything in stride. He is housebroken, loves his crate, and gets along great with everyone – even the cats! Wyatt is also in foster with both male and female boxers. He will be a big boy once he gains some much needed weight. Wyatt will be neutered in a couple weeks and then will be ready for his forever home. This boy has been the perfect gentleman and is going to be a wonderful addition to a lucky home.
