Message for “Name a Dog” donation:
We had to say goodbye to our wonderful boy, Winston, in November when he lost his battle to cancer.  He was the sweetest boxer boy and loved puppies so much.

We were able to help a second litter of puppies in rescue over the weekend. We were contacted by a breeder who was no longer able to care for the puppies. Thanks to the quick action of several volunteers, we were able to get all of the puppies into foster homes. They just turned 7 weeks old today and will be ready to go to their new homes next week (February 26th).  Please make sure your home is a good match for a puppy this age before submitting an application. Winston will need somebody home often to work on his house training and socialization. He will need an active family that is willing to make a lifelong commitment for him. If there is another dog in the home, they need to be able to appreciate the energy and antics of a young puppy.

We will be reviewing all applications and looking for homes that understand and meet the needs of an 8 week old puppy. Winston is currently fostered in Maryland. We will continue to provide updated pictures and information about his progress in his foster home.
