Message for “Name a Dog” donation:
My father is battling stage 4 cancer. His father, Walter, died from cancer.  Our AABR dog, Maisie, brings my dad so much joy and comfort. She is always checking in on him and jumping up on his bed to give him love.

Walter is one of our amazing semi seniors, a dreamboat. He is gentle, trusting, loving and an affectionate sweetheart. He walks well on leash, takes treats nicely, and is an easy go with the flow gentlemen who loves to wear cowboy hats.  He would love a foster or adopter to help him get out of boarding.  In another life, Walter wouldn’t be an abandoned senior at the shelter. He would be a cherished family member. We would like to give him that chance.
