About Your Home
Any children in the home?
Many rescued dogs come from homes with children, but many more do not, or come to us as strays. Having children in the home, especially toddlers, will lengthen the time it takes to make a good match.
About You and Your Other Pets
AABR does not adopt boxers into homes with un-neutered dogs. If you wish to apply for an exemption to this policy, please select "Requesting Exemption" and explain below.
The lives of all animals are important to us. Even dogs that have known to co-exist with cats, may see the new cat as prey. Please know that it will take much more time to match a dog with cats in the home.
About Boxers
Through experience AABR has found that male/female matches work best, followed by male/male companions. We have found that matching two females in the same home is the least likely to work, and have a policy against it.
Note: Dogs named will most likely be applied for my more than 1 applicant or adopted.

Note: Adopting an animal is a life time commitment. An animal of any breed is a living, breathing, thinking being. It is not like buying an inanimate object that at worse may rust if you don't take care of it. Only committed homes need apply.
