What was your first impression when meeting the dog, how did he seem to look at you, did he/she make direct eye contact, and how did that make you feel?

Did the dog approach you willingly and with a friendly, soft body language, or did he seem excited but friendly, or did he show any signs that made you feel uncomfortable?

If the dog was at a distance from you and did not approach you, how did he/she make you feel?

If you were able to give treats to the dog, how did he receive them and how was he immediately after? If you were not, can you say why? Did you offer treats and they were refused or were you not able to offer any? If so, can you say something about the dogs, body language and how you think he may have been feeling, for example, nervous or overexcited.

If you were able touch the dog, Please explain what that entailed and how your touch was received. Did the dog seem comfortable with your touch and lean into you for more when you stopped or back away, uncomfortable or in any way nervous?

From the time you spent with the dog, can you say whether you left feeling that this was a dog you would happily take home and foster or do you have reservations? Do you feel he /she would need lot of decompression time, do you have more concerns?
