Rufus was surrendered to us by a breeder due to Demodectic mange, a skin infection in dogs caused by an overgrowth of Demodex mites in hair follicles. It is NOT contagious to other animals or humans and is easily treated with NexGuard, which he already received. What breed is he? Rufus is a 4 month old teacup chihuahua puppy, tipping the scales at only 2 pounds. He is super friendly and very well socialized with other dogs. Rufus is so sweet and so happy💞
