Roxie and Brutus were found as strays and ended up in a very overcrowded shelter. The owner did end up contacting the shelter, but indicated he would not be picking them up. After waiting a month while we searched for a placement, they were finally able to join AABR this past weekend due to a foster home that offered to take them together. This mother and son pair are the sweetest boxers and would love to find a forever home where they can remain together. They would do best in a home without other dogs or cats. They are wonderful with people and have been settling in great in foster.

Roxie is an adorable dark brindle girl who is estimated to be around 8 years old. She is housebroken, crate trained, and learning her basic commands. Roxie loves to follow her foster mom around the house. We recently learned that Roxie is heartworm positive and she will begin her treatment soon.
