Roscoe continues to do well in his foster home. He is looking for a home with a resident dog who can appreciate his energy and who can tolerate the behavior of a puppy this age. Roscoe also would do best in a home with a securely fenced yard and with somebody home enough to continue to work on his house training. He is very treat motivated and he has the best disposition!

Roscoe is a typical puppy – he is super cute, smart, and loves other dogs. He has already learned how to go down the steps and he loves going outside. Roscoe is working hard on his potty training. With the warmer weather around the corner, his foster mom expects him to make progress quickly. Roscoe is very eager to learn and will sit now on command. He is missing his siblings and would do best in a home with another dog. Roscoe is very submissive and would love a buddy to grow up with. He is looking for a family that is able to give him a lot of time to help him grow to be the best adult boy! If you have the time to devote to a puppy this age, apply for Roscoe!

We were able to help a second litter of puppies in rescue over the weekend. We were contacted by a breeder who was no longer able to care for the puppies. Thanks to the quick action of several volunteers, we were able to get all of the puppies into foster homes. They just turned 7 weeks old today and will be ready to go to their new homes next week (February 26th). Please make sure your home is a good match for a puppy this age before submitting an application. Roscoe will need somebody home often to work on his house training and socialization. He will need an active family that is willing to make a lifelong commitment for him. If there is another dog in the home, they need to be able to appreciate the energy and antics of a young puppy.

We will be reviewing all applications and looking for homes that understand and meet the needs of an 8 week old puppy. Roscoe is currently fostered in Maryland. We will continue to provide updated pictures and information about his progress in his foster home.
