We recently received a plea from a good Samaritan in Mississippi who saved this sweet senior boy.  She responded to an urgent message from a woman who had witnessed a Boxer walking along the side of the road who was intentionally struck by a car.  This woman picked him up and thankfully he did not have any injuries.  Roscoe was being kept on a filthy mattress in an abandoned house.  The good Samaritan had health issues herself and multiple other dogs, but she took him to her house and put out a plea to get him rescue help.  Roscoe is estimated to be around 9-10 years of age.  She neutered him and brought him up to date on vet care.  Roscoe is heartworm negative and has been on monthly preventatives.  She reports that he has been living with seven other dogs and five cats.  He is a cuddle bug who is very sweet and loving.  Roscoe enjoys attention and being walked.  He will be arriving soon to his new foster home in Maryland.
