Popeye has been doing great in his foster home and he is waiting for his family to apply for him. He is learning about waiting for his food and he now sits and waits at the door to go out.  Popeye is also working on his basic obedience commands.  He is a very smart boy and wants to please his people. Popeye is a little too spunky for the oldsters in his foster home, but he respects their boundaries. He does have a high prey drive, so would do best in a home without cats. Popeye would love a securely fenced yard at his new home to run and play in. This sweet, young boy is going to be a wonderful addition to a lucky family.

Popeye is a 1-2 year old boy who was found as a stray. He participated in play groups at the shelter and they reported he was great with both male and female dogs. Popeye does not have a history around cats or young children. He has been neutered and brought up to date on all vet care. Popeye just arrived at his new foster home in Maryland over the weekend, where he is settling in well with both of the other dogs. He is a smart boy who quickly made himself right at home.
