Pixie was recently diagnosed with bone cancer and her foster mom was by her side when the pain became too much.  This senior girl knew nothing but love during her time in foster.  Rest in peace, sweet Pixie.

Pixie is an extremely sweet senior girl who is doing well in her foster home. She came into rescue very underweight and Pixie is still working on putting on some pounds. She has been fully vetted, including some lump removals, a spay, and her dental. Pixie is completely housebroken and she is now a pro at using her foster home’s doggy door. Pixie is wonderful with other dogs and would love to find a new home where she can live with one or more companions. Pixie is currently fostered with a female and a male boxer, and she gets along great with both. She enjoys playing with the other dogs and also snuggling with them. Pixie is also wonderful with cats and children. She is happy to curl up on the couch and snuggle, sit and sunbathe outside, or go for a walk. Pixie walks very well on leash. She really wants to please her people. Pixie has been in foster for several months now, and is ready for her forever home! Apply today to adopt this wonderful, senior girl.

Pixie is a senior girl who is estimated to be around 10 years of age. She ended up at the shelter with three other dogs when her owner passed away. Pixie has been through a lot and would love nothing more than to find a loving home where she can settle down. She is very thin right now and will need some lumps removed when she gains enough weight for surgery. The shelter reported that Pixie did wonderful with other dogs at the shelter and also with the cats. She just arrived at her new foster home on Sunday. Pixie did great with the introductions to her foster fur-siblings and she is enjoying being out of the shelter and able to snuggle with her foster family.  We will post more about Pixie as we get to know her better.
