Pearlita came to the rescue 187 days ago when her family moved and left her behind. She was adopted a few months ago only to be returned in the middle of her heartworm treatment.

She has adjusted calmly to boarding life, spending much of her time quietly resting. She enjoys attention and will lean in for pets, rest her head in your lap, and give you her paw.

She is still settling into the environment but continues to show a steady, sweet hearted nature.

Pearlita is estimated to be 5 1/2 years of age. She would do best as the only pet in the home. She wants a couch to nap on, someone to follow from room to room, evening walks, belly rubs, lazy Sunday mornings, and a backyard where she can roll around in the sunshine before coming back inside to be with her people.
