I lost my precious boy last June to DM. I will feel guilty forever for not being able to do enough for him and not being able to make him well. He was a rescue and I only had him for three years, but his death will haunt me forever. He loved everyone and everything. He truly was a special boy.

Oskar is located in Turkey and is estimated to be around 2-3 years old. He was a skeleton when he was found in the mountains in Turkey. He had to fight for his life among packs of stray dogs. The situation for abandoned dogs in Turkey is heartbreaking and Boxers struggle to survive in this environment. Oskar is one of the lucky ones. He has recovered from a respiratory infection, gained some much needed weight, and starting to feel more secure. Oskar would be do best in a home as an only dog where he can have the joys of living in the US to himself. He is looking for a foster or forever home when he gets a flight to the United States.
