Because Minnie was not getting along with the male boxer in her previous foster home, she was moved to a new foster placement last week where she is the only dog. Minnie has adjusted very well and needs a forever home where she can be your one and only. She has lived with cats, but does chase them if they run. Minnie can also easily leap over a four foot fence, so she is now fostered in a condo where she can get plenty of on leash walks, runs, and hikes. Minnie is a very athletic, in charge, and energetic girl – so she would do best in a home without small children. She has a difficult time containing her excitement with new people, so will need continued work on her jumping for attention. Minnie is super sweet and eager to please. She also enjoys cuddles on the couch or bed. Minnie is housebroken and crate trained. She will go right into the crate when directed and she behaves well in the crate when left alone. Minnie loves car rides and is always up for new adventures. She has been waiting a long time for the right match. Minnie has been back at her foster home for four months now. We would love to find her a forever home of her own. She plays well with her foster siblings, but is a dominant girl and does want to be the boss. Minnie would also be quite happy as an only dog who can get all of the human attention. She is in foster with cats and does very well with them. Minnie goes into her crate easily and does need to be crated when left alone. She also needs closely monitored when outside in her yard. Minnie is able to jump a five foot fence and has enough drive to possibly go through an invisible fence. Minnie would do best with an experienced dog owner – she is smart, confident, and athletic. She would love to do agility training, flyball, or frequent hiking with her new family. Minnie is going to be a great match for a home looking for a high energy, young girl. She is also a great snuggler!

Minnie was returned to rescue to find a home that is a better match for her. She is looking for a home without young children and with a tall fenced yard. Minnie is a high energy, athletic girl. She is back with her foster family, where she is living with cats and two other boxers. Minnie enjoys going on walks and she absolutely loves tennis balls, rope toys, and playing fetch. She can get protective of her toys, which is one of the reasons that she needs a home with older children. Minnie knows her basic commands and is highly treat motivated. She does need some work on jumping for attention. Minnie wants to play with everyone she meets. She would do best in a home with another active dog.

Minnie has arrived at her new foster home and is settling in well. She is in foster with two other boxers and three cats. Minnie needs some work on her jumping when she gets excited, but she is already making progress. Minnie is a smart and willing girl. She has a lot of energy and although she has never jumped a fence, we would feel more comfortable with a taller fence because Minnie is an athletic girl. Minnie was found as a stray and ended up at dog pound in WV. She just arrived at her new foster home this weekend, where she is doing great with the other dog and also with the cats. In her temporary foster placement, Minnie did well with the young child in the home. She is the sweetest girl and never stops wiggling. Minnie also gives lots of kisses. She is completely housebroken and will be spayed this upcoming week. Minnie will then be ready to find a forever family!
