We have been getting to know Max better now that he is in a foster home. Max is an energetic young boy who loves meeting new people. He is really enjoying his fenced yard and would love to have this in his forever home. Due to his high prey drive, Max would not do well with an invisible fence and he should be placed in a home without cats.  Max can go to a home with a young female dog who can keep up with his energy. He can also be placed as an only dog if somebody is home often.  Max isn’t used to being alone all day, so he has been going to work with his foster mom. Included is a picture of Max monitoring the security cameras today. Max will be neutered on Monday and then will be ready to move to his forever home. If you meet Max’s needs, apply today to give this handsome young boy a forever home.

We welcomed Max into AABR today in Maryland. This 20 month old boy was sadly surrendered to rescue due to the owner’s asthma. He is a very sweet and happy young boxer, with lots of puppy energy. When our volunteer went to meet Max at his home, he was overjoyed to welcome a new guest. Although he didn’t live with another dog, Max was excited to meet our volunteer’s female boxer and he was eager to play. He has not had any interactions with young children or cats. Max is crated when he is left alone. He is used to being leash walked and taken to the park for exercise. Max has been very loved and well cared for. He is arriving at a temporary foster and is scheduled to be neutered this week. We would love to find him a forever home as soon as possible so he can settle in with his new family. This boy is going to be a wonderful addition to a lucky home.
