Mav is an 8 month old boxer who was surrendered by his owner. He has been treated well and is very trusting of people. His previous owners just felt that Mav needed more room to run and somebody who could dedicate more time to him. He is great with children and other dogs. Mav arrived last weekend to his new foster home in Maryland. He traveled well in the car and did great with the introductions with his new foster siblings. He is living with three other dogs and also with cats. He has become inseparable with the other dogs, and we would love to see him placed in a home with a female dog companion. Mav is doing well with his crate training and he is completely housebroken. His foster mom indicates that he is very wiggly and playful. Mav has excellent manners in the home and he is very gentle when taking treats. He can sit and give his paw on command. Mav will just need some leash work as he is very strong.
