Matilda was found as a stray and is estimated to be around 8-9 years old. While she was at the shelter, the vet discovered a mammary tumor. We will be having this removed once she has settled in at her foster home. The shelter’s behavior evaluation indicated that Matilda is a very friendly girl who walks gently on leash. She accepts petting with lots of wags from her nub. Matilda was very friendly with a younger dog that she was introduced with.  She greeted the dog and then walked away. Matilda was just picked up from the shelter over the weekend and she will be arriving at her new foster home in Maryland this evening. Her temporary foster mom indicated that Matilda is a sweet and spunky girl who enjoyed playing with her foster siblings. We will post more about Matilda as we get to know her better.
