Message for “Name a Dog” donation:
Both my parents were USAF in the early 1950’s. They met, fell in love, and married. They got Pele from an island breeder. She was the runt and had mange – the breeder wanted to put her down. My parents saved her and this name will honor Pele.

Madame Pele able to get a flight to the United States and she went directly to a new home.

Pele is estimated to be around 2 years old. She was found as a stray in Turkey. Pele will hopefully be getting a flight to the United States in 6-8 weeks. She will be looking for an adopter when she arrives in New York.
