Luna is a 4 year old female boxer.  She was surrendered to the shelter because the owner had an ill family member and no longer had enough time to devote to Luna.  She has been spayed and brought up to date on all vet care.  Luna weighed 63 lbs when she arrived at the shelter, but she has lost a significant amount of weight due to being extremely stressed and not eating in the shelter environment.  Because of how shut down she was becoming, the shelter reached out to rescue for help.  Thankfully, we were able to find a foster home to get Luna out of that environment.  Luna’s owner reported that she was housebroken, crate trained, and good with children and other animals.  She can be timid around strangers and needs time to open up. Once she does, though, Luna is very sweet!  Luna’s new foster home reports that she is now eating better.  We will update her page once Luna settles in.  She will need a quiet and patient home to help her personality shine!
