🐾❤️ LOUIE – THE BOY WHO JUST NEEDED SOMEONE TO SEE HIM ❤️🐾

Some rescue stories break your heart before they begin to put it back together.  This sweet Dalmatian was found alone at a train station in Baltimore on a blazing hot summer day. The pavement was scorching, and this poor boy had nowhere to go and no one coming to find him.  When he was discovered, he was skin and bones – weak and exhausted. His nails were severely overgrown and his poor paw pads were burned from walking on hot pavement. He had been trying to survive on his own – searching for food and a safe place to rest while the summer heat surrounded him.  And yet, somehow, through all of it, his gentle spirit remained. He still trusted the people who stopped to help him.  He didn’t know that someone was about to change his life. He didn’t know that his lonely days were coming to an end.  He only knew that someone finally saw him. And that was enough.

Today, this precious boy is being welcomed into the AABR family thanks to a foster home that was willing to help him.  His story isn’t over. In fact, we believe the best chapter is just beginning.  There will be full bellies, cool water, soft beds, veterinary care, gentle hands, and people who will remind him every single day that he is safe and loved.  One day, we hope that train station will be nothing more than a distant memory.  Because someday, instead of searching for somewhere to belong, he’ll be curled up on a soft bed and surrounded by people who adore him.  And maybe, just maybe, he’ll finally understand that he wasn’t abandoned because he wasn’t worth loving. He was simply waiting for the people who would love him the way he always deserved.  Louie has been brought up to date on all vet care and will receive a dental as soon as he gains enough weight.  His foster mom reports that Louie is the definition of what she calls the perfect boy.  If you think this adorable Dalmation would fit into your family, apply today for Louie.
