Link has made amazing strides since coming into rescue in November as a very thin and bewildered boy. He has gained some much needed weight and is scheduled to be neutered today. Link will then be ready to move to his forever home. He is completely housebroken, crate trained, and he also learned to use his foster’s dog door. Link is currently fostered with both a male and female boxer. He loves to play with other dogs and he also enjoys long naps with his humans. Link would do best in a home without cats. Because he is a large boy and doesn’t always realize his size, a home without toddlers would be best. Link is eager to please and very easy to train. He has typical boxer energy and he hasn’t met a chew toy that he doesn’t like.

Link and Stella were found as strays in very rough shape. They were taken to a local shelter and were not reclaimed by their owners. Link arrived last weekend to his new foster home in Maryland, where he is living with two other dogs and doing great with them.  Link was emaciated when he was found, so he needs to gain some much needed weight before we can neuter him.  His foster mom reports that he is a fun loving, goofy boy.  He is going to be a big boy when he fills out!  Link’s age is estimated to be around 3-5 years old.
