We are not sure why King hasn’t been adopted yet. He is a friendly and energetic young boy who is going to make a wonderful companion to an active family. He does need a securely fenced yard in his new home and he would prefer a home outside of the city. King is very well behaved in his foster home. He is crate trained and completely housebroken. King is the perfect combination of active and playful, but he also enjoys some down time and snuggling with his family. King can be placed as an only dog or with a female dog who can tolerate his energy and playfulness. King continues to do great in his foster home. He loves being outside and playing with the family. As you can see, he is starting to embrace football season and King loves the cooler weather. He is always ready with boxer wiggles and kisses, and he is also very happy to snuggle with his family. King knows a lot of commands and goes willingly into his crate when asked. King likes to be lazy in the morning and then play with his toys all day and evening. He also loves playing fetch. King would do fine as an only dog or he can also be placed with a female dog who can tolerate his energy. A secure, fenced yard is a requirement for King’s specific needs. He also enjoys going with his family for walks. King is a very loving and loyal boy. If somebody is looking for a young, energetic compansion – King would be the perfect match!
We are surprised that this wonderful boy has not been snatched up yet by a family. He continues to do great in his foster home. King is fully crate trained now and will go in on command. He enjoys playing with toys all day and all evening. King also loves playing fetch in the yard and going for walks. He would do fine in a home as an only dog if provided with enough exercise and attention. He could also be placed in a home with a young female dog who can keep up with his activity level. King has visited other volunteer’s homes for temporary stays and has done well meeting new dogs. A securely fenced yard is a requirement for King’s needs. King is doing well in his new foster home. He is very friendly with everyone that he meets. King is very energetic and loves playing outside with ropes and balls. He is also great at playing catch and fetch. King is very sweet and cuddly with his foster family. He really wants to please his people and is very easy to train. King got to spend the weekend with one of our volunteers when his foster family had to go out of town. He got along great with both of their dogs and really enjoyed going on a hike. King is a 1-2 yr old boy who was adopted from the shelter in January. The child in his home has been experiencing severe allergy symptoms, so the family made the heartbreaking decision to surrender King to rescue. His previous owners indicate that King is a sweet and fun loving boy who almost always has a ball in his mouth. King needs a fenced yard because he is an energetic boy who loves to run. Older kids may be best because King likes to jump up when he is excited. He loves to cuddle and is completely housebroken. King has been crated during the day.
