Holladay is now 8 weeks old and ready to find a home to share his new adventures with. His foster mom reports that he is her snuggler. He is already learning to come when called and is doing great with his potty training. Holladay is pretty easygoing and he goes with the flow. He is more of an observer than a leader. Holladay would do well in a home that can give him a lot of one on one attention – he really enjoys that!

We were able to help a second litter of puppies in rescue over the weekend. We were contacted by a breeder who was no longer able to care for the puppies. Thanks to the quick action of several volunteers, we were able to get all of the puppies into foster homes. They just turned 7 weeks old today and will be ready to go to their new homes next week (February 26th). Please make sure your home is a good match for a puppy this age before submitting an application. Holladay will need somebody home often to work on his house training and socialization. He will need an active family that is willing to make a lifelong commitment for him. If there is another dog in the home, they need to be able to appreciate the energy and antics of a young puppy.

We will be reviewing all applications and looking for homes that understand and meet the needs of an 8 week old puppy. Holladay is currently fostered in Maryland. We will continue to provide updated pictures and information about his progress in his foster home.
