Hazel has been searching for a place to call home for many months now. She is a low key girl and happy to just be in the same room as her people. She doesn’t ask for much. Hazel is great with well-behaved pups like herself.
She would make a wonderful companion for a home that enjoys the simple things in life, like leisurely walks, running errands together, spending quality time at home, and sharing life with a loyal companion. Please don’t forget about Hazel – help us find her way in this world.

Hazel did not have a good first three years of her life, but she has worked through her anxiety and now loves indoor life. She shows every day that she can put her past behind her and live her best life! Hazel is now ready to meet a potential family. She would do best in a home where somebody is there often. Hazel enjoys zoomies and she needs a securely fenced yard. She loves long walks and car rides. Hazel is a petite girl at 49 lbs.

Hazel was abandoned or dumped in a field in south Texas. She is estimated to be around 3 years old. Hazel had to fend for herself and manage with limited eyesight due to a cherry eye. She is working through the anxiety caused by this trauma. Hazel is now in foster and is improving with time, love, and patience. She will be spayed soon and have her cherry eye repaired.
