Floyd is being returned to rescue due to a change in his owner’s lifestyle. We are grateful that his original foster was there to welcome him when he was no longer wanted. Floyd is a distinguished gentleman of 11 years who enjoys the companion of female dogs his size. He also wouldn’t mind being the only dog in the home where he could be showered with all the love he has been missing out on. Floyd enjoys leisurely walks around the neighborhood and satisfying naps. He is courteous of cats. Please consider opening your heart to a senior – they give you the best years of their lives.

Floyd continues to be a sweet, good hearted gentleman while he waits for his forever home. He is a social fella that enjoys meeting new friends – humans, dogs and even cats. Floyd loves to play catch followed by short naps on a cozy bed. If you are interested in adopting Floyd, apply today!

Floyd and Cage were picked up as strays and brought to a very high kill rural shelter in the south. They found comfort in being together as they struggled to deal with life within the shelter system. This lovely father and son duo are currently in boarding and hoping for a foster or committed home to welcome them together. One of our volunteers takes them to her home a few hours a day to give them a reprieve from the boarding kennel. They are both well mannered guests. They are extremely friendly with females, both large and small, and also very respectful of cats. These gentleman are so easygoing and loving. We are realistic that we may have to split them, but are hopeful we may be able to find them a home to welcome them together.
