Fleetwood is a young boxer mix who is only around a year of age and sadly found himself on an urgent list at an overcrowded shelter in Maryland.  He only had a few days to find a placement and we are thankful that one of our previous adopters acted quickly and went to the shelter on short notice to save him.  The volunteers who walked Fleetwood at the shelter indicated that he was quiet in his kennel.  He was easy to leash and walked nicely, always looking back at the volunteer to match his pace.  When the volunteer bent down to scratch him behind his ears, Fleetwood melted into his arms.  He did great in a play group with multiple dogs.  Fleetwood is settling in well at his new foster home in Maryland, where he is living with three other dogs.  He does not have a history around cats.  His foster mom feels he would do best with another dog in the home and no young children.  Fleetwood will need some continued work with his socialization.  He has been neutered and is now current on all vet care.  If you are a good match for this young boy, apply today for Fleetwood!
