Emma is one of the forgotten ones. She has been overlooked time and time again. She has been adopted and returned twice, both times after less than 24 hours. Thankfully, her foster home has welcomed her back with open arms. Emma is a puppy mill survivor. She is also a cancer survivor. Emma had a cancerous mass on her mammary gland when she was freed from a horrific life of forced breeding. The cancer had spread to a local lymph node. Thanks to our generous supporters, we were able to give Emma the best in life saving treatment. While under the care of one of the best oncologists in the tri-state area, Emma received six round of chemotherapy. She has finished chemotherapy and has been given a clean bill of health. Emma enjoys traveling to expensive hotels, room service, sunbathing, crushing on her foster dad, and wearing flowers on her collar. She will steal your man. Emma was thrown out of an Amish puppy mill after she was showing discomfort nursing her puppies. Upon her arrival here with us at rescue, it was clear she needed immediate medical attention. One of Emma’s mammaries was severely deformed, extremely swollen, and rock hard. A biopsy confirmed that it was cancerous and that the cancer had also spread to her lymph nodes. Emma is currently undergoing chemotherapy thanks to our generous donors. Her foster brother Neely, who is also a boxer, is bringing her much comfort.
