Clover has been making a lot of progress in her foster home and she is ready to make the transition to an adoptive family. This petite girl only weighs 28 lbs, but don’t let her size fool you! Clover is full of energy and is everything you would expect for an 8 month old boxer puppy. She is very food motivated and Clover loves to run and play. She would do best with a securely fenced yard. Clover needs a family home enough so they can continue to work on her housetraining. She absolutely loves people, children, and other dogs. Clover also lives with cats and is learning not to chase them. She will need a male dog in her new home that can handle her energy level and who can continue to help her build confidence. Clover has become very comfortable inside her foster home, but the outside world is still very scary for her. If you meet Clover’s needs, apply today for this sweet girl.

Clover and her three littermates were surrendered to a shelter when their owners moved across the country and their new rental did not allow dogs. All four boxers were very fearful in the shelter, so a plea was placed for rescue help. They were feeding off each other’s fear and have been making much better progress after being separated. They are very food motivated and each will need a patient home to socialize them and help them build their confidence. It would be beneficial for them to be placed with a confident dog of the opposite sex and a securely fenced yard. Clover is 7 months old and will be arriving at her new foster home in Pennsylvania tomorrow. We will update her page once she settles in and her foster family gets to know her better.
