Chloe is ready for her forever family and has been patiently waiting for a home to choose her. She loves to cuddle and lay by your feet. Her butt does an insane dance as she is a really happy girl now and her nub goes faster than a helicopter. Chloe loves her new life in her foster home – imagine how happy she would be with you! Chloe loves long walks or slow runs! She would do better with dogs her size and older kids. Chloe also prefers a person who is home often. She is up to date medically and emotionally more secure now.

After a few weeks with her foster family, here is what we have learned about Chloe. She had a mass removed from her side and from her foot. Chloe has been healing nicely and will be ready for her forever home soon. She would probably do best with somebody who works from home or is retired. Chloe likes to supervise what you are doing! It might be best if the home does not have cats. Chloe would do okay with another male dog her size and she loves kids! The vet thinks Chloe is around 7, but don’t let that number fool you. She loves to run around the yard and enjoys walking and hiking. Chloe has recently been to the beach for the first time. She was scared at first, but there are so many things that are new to her. She just needs a patient family that will help her adjust to new environments.

Chloe spent most of her life in a cold, dark, dingy barn on a filthy Amish farm. They used her for breeding and treated her like garbage. When our volunteer led her out of that horse stall, she clawed and ran to her truck. Chloe is an extremely outgoing girl who has not let her past define her.  She is completely housetrained and has very good manners in the home. Chloe can go to a home as an only dog or can go with a male dog her size.
