Cash has settled in and is doing wonderful. He is a really sweet boy who is full of wiggles. Cash gets along well with both female dogs in his foster home. His mass on his rear leg was removed and Cash has completely healed from the surgery. For the first time in many years, he is able to walk and play normally. We just received the biopsy results and the mass came back as an acrochordon, which is a skin tag that had suffered secondary ulceration and inflammation from the trauma of Cash constantly stepping on it as it grew in size. The mass was 1 lb when removed. This benign mass was completely excised and we are so happy for Cash that the surgery is curative. Thank you to all of his supporters who have followed his story and donated to his surgery!

We welcomed 9 year old Cash into AABR over the weekend. He was abandoned by his owner and ended up at a Humane Society in West Virginia. Cash previously lived with two other dogs and he did well with other dogs at the shelterHe is very sweet with people and is a playful, energetic boy. Cash arrived at his foster home in Maryland on Sunday and he has been settling in well. He is getting along great with both female dogs in his foster home. It is difficult to see Cash struggling to get around with a large tumor that should have been removed well before it got to this point. The tumor has now outgrown the skin and has open sores. Cash is scheduled to have the tumor removed today. Please consider donating towards his surgery.  We will update about his progress as he recovers from the surgery.
