Buddy is still looking for a foster or forever home.  He does not have any interactions with other dogs, so an only dog home may be best at this time.  He loves all kinds of toys, especially those that squeak.  Buddy is an energetic boy who is very strong on leash.  He would do best with a secure, fenced yard to run and play in and an experienced owner who can continue to work on his leash walking.  Buddy is crate trained and housebroken.  We would love to move Buddy into a foster home where we can finish his vetting and learn more about him.  Buddy is currently located in Maryland.

Buddy is a 4 year old boy who is being surrendered to rescue because his owner does not have the time to spend with him.  He is reported to be good with kids of all ages.  Buddy would benefit from a home that can provide training, exercise, and socialization.   He has limited exposure around other dogs, but he seems eager to meet them when he sees other dogs on walks.   Buddy can be placed in an only dog home.  If he goes to a home with another dog, it should be a more submissive female and an owner who understands how to complete gradual introductions.  Buddy has no history around cats.  Our volunteer met Buddy and he warmed up quickly to him.  He is completely housebroken and also crate trained.  If you can provide a foster or forever home, apply today for Buddy.
