I lost my boxer named Boudreaux two years ago and I wanted another boxer to have his name.

Boudreaux has been patiently waiting way too long for his turn to be chosen by a loving family. He needs a home with no other pets for this handsome hunk because Boudreaux thrives on being the center of attention. He is an absolute sweetheart that would make a family very happy! He loves to be around people and play with toys. Boudreaux also likes to keep himself busy by chewing on a bone or toy and snoozing on the couch. He would love a home of his own.

Boudreaux is still urgently in need of a foster or adoptive home where he can be the only pet. He has been overlooked for months. Boudreaux attaches quickly to his humans and he tries hard to please. He has lived a very hard life on the streets – alone, afraid, and hungry. Boudreaux isn’t afraid to show off his goofy side – prancing like a show horse or rolling around on his back – anything to make you smile. He would love to share his life and love with a home deserving of him.

Boudreaux has settled in with his foster home and is now ready for his forever home. He bonds quickly with his humans and he loves to be wherever you are.  Boudreaux can be found napping on the couch or window watching when he isn’t snuggling with his favorite human. Boudreaux has insecurities around other animals and he needs to be the only pet in the home. His ideal home would have a physically fenced-in yard where he can play ball, trot like a show horse, and clown around. His foster family is working on his leash manners and is making great progress. If you are looking for a loyal companion that will keep all of your secrets and be forever loyal to you, this is your boy. Boudreaux would really like a home of his own.

Boudreaux would love a chance to get out of boarding and into a foster or adoptive home. He is a gentle boy at approximately 3 years of age. Boudreaux enjoys leashed walks and going out for a hamburger with his favorite volunteer, Liz.

Boudreaux was found wandering the streets begging for food. The shelter reports him to be a sweet, gentle boy that has had positive reactions to other well behaved dogs at the shelter. We will be getting him caught up on vetting, a nail trim, and a nice warm bath. Boudreaux is looking for a foster or adoptive home to welcome him.
