Boomer is doing great in his foster home. He is a sweet and gentle boy who quickly won the hearts of his foster family, including a senior female boxer who can be grouchy with other dogs. He fits in like he has lived there his whole life. Boomer has been brought up to date on all vet care and is now ready to find a forever home of his own. Boomer was abandoned in an outside kennel at a shelter with a note only giving his name. His previous owners did not have the decency to surrender him during normal business hours and provide additional information about him to help Boomer’s transition to a new home. The shelter reached out to rescue and indicated that Boomer was a very sweet boy. He did great with his dog test and didn’t pay any attention to the cats when he was taken into the cat room. Boomer is estimated to be around 7-8 years old. He was transported to Maryland and is now safe and happy in his foster home. Boomer is in foster with both a male and female boxer. We will update Boomer’s page once his foster family gets to know him better.
