Please meet Banjo! Banjo and Annnie were left in a popular dumping area for dogs down south. When we learned of them, our volunteer quickly rushed to get them safe. Annie is a party girl, all up in your face, wanting lots of love and giving lots of love in return. Banjo is more reserved and he lets Annie enjoy the limelight while politely waiting his turn for affection or the chance to play with a toy. During their first night in their temporary foster home, they could be heard playing with squeaky toys through most of the night. They were happy – they knew they were safe. We hope to find a foster or forever home to welcome them both so that they can stay as happy as they are right now.

Unfortunately this morning, both Annie and Banjo tested positive for heartworms. Rescue covers the treatment for both Annie and Banjo. We knew the odds are stacked against them to find a foster or forever home to welcome one of them and both would take a miracle. Annie and Banjo have no experience with cats or young children. They are both friendly with dogs their size. Please consider being their miracle.
