Meet one of the new girls to arrive to rescue, Bambi ?  She is a sweet, gentle, timid, little girl that shines in the presence of other dogs.? She loves to run, romp and play, an equal opportunity playmate. She will play with any dog that wants to be her friend.   Bambi is the perfect bestie for a nice well behaved male dog that is longing for a little sister.  She is estimated to be just shy of a year old and itty bitty, weighing in at a mere 36lbs.?  Bambi  and her littermates are all heartworm positive. The good news is that she is young and it is not a heavy burden and super easy to treat. Rescue covers the cost of treatment with our veterinary partners. It’s not her fault. No one cared enough to give her a heartworm pill.
