11/19/24 – 10 weeks

Baby Ruth is now 10 weeks old.  She has learned how to do zoomies and will run around the house as fast as her legs will go!  Baby Ruth loves snuggling with the other dogs and we are hoping to find her a placement with at least one other male dog in the home.  She is eating well and is already up to 13 lbs!  Her foster family reports that she is a complete doll and the family that gets her will be very lucky.  Apply today if you can meet the needs of a puppy this age.

11/7/24 – 8 weeks

Baby Ruth is now 8 weeks old and she has moved into a new foster home in Maryland while she is waiting for the right family.  She is currently in foster with several other boxers, and she absolutely loves being around the big dogs.  Baby Ruth would do best in a home with a male dog to play with and to help guide her.  She is a very confident female.  Baby Ruth is pretty quiet, unless she finds a toy to announce to everyone.  She is eating well and is already showing signs of picking up her housetraining.  Baby Ruth is looking for a home who is there often enough to continue the progress she is making.  This adorable boxer mix puppy is going to be a wonderful addition to a lucky family.  Apply today if you are a good match for Baby Ruth!

       
10/14/24 – 5 weeks

We are now accepting applications for the puppies from Reese’s litter. Reese arrived at a shelter in West Virginia in very poor shape and with a litter of seven newborn puppies after her owner could no longer care for them. We do not have any information on the father for this litter, so we can not answer questions about their breed or whether these puppies are purebred boxers. Baby Ruth is one of the female puppies. She just turned 4 weeks old on Friday. This adorable girl will be ready for her forever home when she is 8 weeks old (November 1st).

Please make sure your home is a good match for a puppy this age before submitting an application. Baby Ruth will need somebody home often to work on her house training and socialization. She will need an active family that is willing to make a lifelong commitment for her. If there is another dog in the home, they need to be able to appreciate the energy and antics of a young puppy.

We will be reviewing all applications and looking for homes that understand and meet the needs of an 8 week old puppy. Baby Ruth is currently fostered in Virginia. We will continue to provide updated pictures and information about her progress in her foster home.
