Atlas is now off medical hold and this six month old puppy is ready to move to his forever home.  His ultrasound showed no abnormalities and the internal medicine specialist thankfully did not discover any kidney issues.  After multiple rounds of antibiotics, his urinary tract infections have finally resolved.  Atlas was able to be neutered two weeks ago, and he has recovered well from surgery.  He is looking for a home that is there often enough to let him out frequently through the day as he continues to work on increasing his bladder control.  He is a high energy boy who would love a fenced yard in his new home.  Atlas has proven to be too energetic for the senior dogs in his current foster home – he would do best in an active home or with younger dogs that can keep up with him.  Atlas should be placed in a home without cats.  If you can meet the needs of this sweet puppy, apply today for Atlas!

After only a week in his new home, Atlas has been returned to rescue and is back with his foster home.  He continues to experience multiple urinary tract infections and has inconsistent control of his bladder.  He needs continued medical care to figure out why.  Atlas will be having an ultrasound this week and then a follow up appointment with an internal medicine specialist so we can determine a cause and then an appropriate treatment plan for him.  Until we get this information, Atlas will be placed on medical hold in his foster home.  Please consider donating towards his care – he is only 4 months of age and we are doing everything possible to get some answers and help for this sweet puppy.

Atlas is a 3 month old puppy who was surrendered to rescue due to a family member’s allergies.  When he arrived at his foster home, he was in a diaper and dealing with an ongoing urinary tract infection.  He visited our rescue vet and started a new course of antibiotics, which has really helped Atlas.  Once he fully recovers from his UTI, he will be neutered and ready for his forever home.  Atlas is in need of a home that can provide him with training and socialization.  Because of his constant puppy nipping, a home without young children may be best for him.  Atlas is a high energy boy who loves to entertain himself with his ball and squeaky toys.  He is in foster home with three other dogs and would love a forever home with a female dog that can tolerate his puppy behavior.  If placed as an only dog, he would benefit from continued socialization regularly with other dogs.  If you can meet his needs, apply today for Atlas!
