Thank you Pam for the name Lovey, In honor of our best girl, Locey.

Meet Lovey, a beautiful 1 1/2 year old girl we pulled, along with her puppy. Leeloo from a very overcrowded shelter. Her pup is now safe in a foster home, but Lovey is alone in boarding… She is scared and bewildered with all the changes life has thrown at her.

We are begging for a committed foster to step up for this girl.

Lovey is sweet. She has shown zero signs of aggression since arriving to boarding. But she is also shut down, and it’s clear no one has ever shown her love or safety.

She doesn’t understand a leash — she’s tryin her best to feel more comfortable with one..

She barely understands touch — shes never known what it’s like to be loved. She wants love so badly but is worried something bad may happen.

needs someone who is patient, gentle, and willing to show her the world isn’t all pain and fear. He needs a foster who can help her learn what it means to be an indoor dog, to be safe, well-fed, cared for, and most importantly – loved.
