Ace has been moved to a new foster home in Virginia. His foster mom reports that he has been going on morning walks with another dog. He is doing really well on leash. Ace is great at eye contact and has so much training potential. He knows his basic commands, such as sit and down. Ace’s foster mom is working on providing consistency and continued training. He will go into a crate when left alone and Ace prefers to have a filled Kong to keep him busy when crated. He enjoys being around children, but we are recommending a home with children over the age of 10 in his next placement. Ace can be very mouthy and jumps up on people. He does not realize his size or strength, which can be a problem around smaller children. Ace also needs closely monitored so he does not get into toys and other small items. He is living with a female boxer.  Ace would benefit from a securely fenced yard and a younger female dog companion who can match his energy level.  He has been bounced around frequently and we would love to find a permanent placement for adoption where he can finally settle in with a family of his own.

Ace has now been in a consistent foster placement for the past month. He is thriving with having a boxer companion in his home. Ace would do best in a home with a young female dog his size who can keep up with his energy level. Ace plays nonstop with his foster sister and he enjoys going on long walks. He is a high energy 10 month old boy who needs a family committed to providing a lot of structure and exercise. He will need continued work on his training and manners. Ace sadly spent a lot of time in his crate in his original home and he did not receive the training he needed. If you can provide the right home for Ace, apply today!

Ace has been returned to AABR to find a better match for his needs. This 9 month old boxer boy needs a home with another active dog and a securely fenced yard. He would do best in a home without cats. Ace is looking for an active family who can provide structure, consistency, and training. His previous owner did not have the time to train him and he spent a lot of time in his crate. This energetic boy will need some work on his manners and obedience. We welcomed Ace into AABR yesterday in Maryland. He was surrendered by his owner because they did not have the time to train him. Ace is an energetic 8 month old boy who needs some work on his manners and obedience. He is crate trained and has lived with children. Ace is reported to be great with other dogs. He has no history with cats. Ace would love a home with a securely fenced yard to burn off some of his boxer energy. If you have the time and experience for a boy this age, apply today to adopt Ace!
