Clarissa and her siblings were surrendered to an overcrowded shelter, along with their mom. The owner reported that their mom was a purebred white female boxer (Diamond, who also joined AABR) and their dad was a mix. After spending a month in the shelter, we were able to pull them into rescue over the weekend only due to the commitment of several foster homes willing to help get these babies out. At only 4 months of age, they should be getting socialized and learning all about a home environment – not growing up in a shelter. Clarissa is settling in well at her foster home with children and two other male dogs. Her foster mom indicates that Clarissa is as sweet as can be.  She loves being outside and going for walks.  If you have the time and experience for a puppy this age, and a male dog already in the home, apply today for Clarissa!
