Baxter was being given away for free on Facebook. Luckily, one of our volunteers was able to get him safely into our rescue.  Baxter is very energetic and highly food motivated. He turns around in circles when it’s meal time and he is always so excited to eat. He sits nicely.   Baxter is very social and gets along really well with all dogs, big and small. He loves to play tug-of-war with his fur foster siblings, and he enjoys being pet and cuddled. Sometimes, when his foster mom is working – he’ll come over and lay in her lap.  He gets his zoomies out in the yard and runs around and around, which is so cute. He has his spot on the couch and curls up and sleeps. He’s crate trained and does well if his foster parents have to go out. Also, he knows at bedtime to go in his crate. Baxter has some daily structure now and knows the drill.  He is a great little travel buddy and loves to go with his foster mom to run errands. He jumps into the SUV, gets belted in, and lays down on his little bed. He’s so portable!  He enjoys going to the pet store and other shops that allow dogs.
