💔 PEPE HAS COME SO FAR… NOW HE JUST NEEDS SOMEONE TO CHOOSE HIM. 💔

Pepe’s story started with four Boxers being found wandering a neighborhood. Someone brought them to a shelter, hoping their families would come looking.

But the stray hold came and went.

No one came for Pepe.

No one called his name.
No one came looking for him.
No one showed up to take him home.

So AABR did.

We opened our doors and brought Pepe and the other three Boxers into the safety of rescue. And since then, Pepe has been working so hard to become the dog we knew was hiding underneath all that uncertainty. ❤️

Pepe has completed basic training and continues to practice his skills every day. He is learning how to trust people. He is meeting new friends. He is slowly discovering that the world can be a safe place.

And now… he is ready.

But Pepe doesn’t need just any home.

He needs someone who will understand that trust isn’t built overnight. Someone who will let him take a breath, settle in, and learn that he is finally home. Someone who won’t give up on him simply because he needs a little time.

🐾 A female dog companion is required.
🌳 A physical fenced yard is required.
❤️ Patience, understanding, and a willingness to let Pepe build trust at his own pace are essential.

Pepe once had no one coming for him.

We don’t want that to be his story again.

He deserves to know what it feels like to have a family waiting for him. A couch that belongs to him. A yard to run in. A female canine sister. A person who looks at him and says, “You’re home. You’re safe. I’m not leaving you.”

Pepe has waited long enough.

His forever family is out there. We just need to find them before another day passes with Pepe still waiting. 💔🐾
